Jennifer Mendelson

Owner/Founder

Carers for You was started by Jennifer Mendelson an accomplished Health therapist with over 20 years experience first in Exercise Therapy and Health and then specializing in Senior Health and Frail Care. She had a thriving practice in New York City for 15 years and upon returning to cape town in 2012 realized there was a strong need for specialized care and assisting parents whose children and family live overseas. Jennifer has an extreme commitment and dedication towards making sure all her clients get the very best care.

Taryn Collinet

Care Manager

Taryn has extensive care knowledge after spending 5 years as a Care Manager in the United Kingdom. She was part of the original creation and vision of Carers for you in 2012 and after a brief relocation to Johannesburg has returned to Carers For You. She works closely with the Carers and patients and does all scheduling.

Sister Sheila Correia

Registered Nurse

Having a string of nursing accolades ranging from acting as Vice Chairlady in 2015 for the Private Nurse Practitioners to Advanced Nursing Dynamics and training as well as working in hospitals and clinics like the Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital and Park Lane Clinic, Sheila is a trusted and dynamic force on our team. Sheila also has experience with medical assessment and can advise on administrative aspects.
